The Carnaval of Veracruz prospers with the visit of million national and foreign tourists, as well as of artists who come to take part in the parades.
The streets of Veracruz and Boca of the Rio are flooded with happy people who enjoys day and night of one of the best holidays of the country.
The Carnaval gives beginning nine days before the ash Wednesday, initiates with the burning in a bad mood, the coronation of the Kings Kids and of the King "Feo", and finally the coronation of the Queen on the part of the governor of the State of Veracruz.
After the coronations they begin the parades of extras and allegoric cars on saturday evening; this event recognized internationally as one of the  most happy of the world carnivals, it initiates his tour in the center of Veracruz and comes up to the boulevard of Boca del Rio. The parades extend until tuesday night; the holiday finishes on wednesday with Juan Carnaval's Burial.
